Shed twice a year, A LOT. Require regular brushing and nail trims. Need lot's of exercise. Need lots of socialization/social exposure and proper training. Need firm, but fair expectations and discipline. Are independent and can be very stubborn. Are NOT good off-leash and master escape artists. Can be dog-dominant and like their personal space. Hunters of small game & birds.
